Webinars or online videos present an opportunity to provide visitors to your website (i.e., the public, customers and prospects) with an insight to your business and how it works.  For example, a recycling company could upload a short video showing the battered items that enter your facility, the recycling process, and then the resulting pristine product.  Visual media is often more effective in conveying a message than the written word, and can be very effective in helping you to build a positive reputation and brand identity within your industry and your local community.
