Systems Review

Business systems are primarily seen as the domain of the IT professional.  At Smart, we whole-heartedly and completely disagree with this dogma.  Customer-facing systems are all about providing your clients with a better experience of your business – whether that’s more detailed invoices, an online portal through which to place their orders, or a database to track their complaints, queries and enquiries.  Systems are your way of improving your customer experience, and offering something that your competitors do not, and should always be defined and specified at a high-level by your business development team.  Let the IT professionals source and build what you want, but let what they build be influenced by your vision and your customers’ reviews and requirements.
