PPC campaigns (i.e., Google Adwords) are a very cost-effective way to increase traffic to your website.  If a person searches on the keywords attached to your advert, it will be displayed.  If they then click on your advert (which links through to a 'landing page' on your website), you pay for their 'click'.  You set a maximum amount that you are willing to pay for a click and a maximum daily budget, ensuring complete control over the amount you spend.  The key is to review your campaign very regularly to confirm you have selected the most relevant and successful keywords.  A campaign-specific landing page can also prove valuable, directing the prospect to a webpage particular to your promotion rather than just your website’s Home Page.
