Local Press Coverage

Only “proper” companies get their name in established local press, right?  At least, this is how many people think, including members of your local community.  While it isn’t true that all publicity is good publicity, there is no harm in presenting the positive aspects of your business to local residents.  Perhaps you raised some money for a charity, or have employed several new (local) people due to a contract win.  PR like this demonstrates that your business is more than a thorn in the local community’s side – it shows that you are committed to the area and are able to offer a positive contribution.
