Local Business & Trade Exhibitions

As with networking, local business and trade exhibitions present a platform from which to establish and reinforce your company’s brand identity, and to make others aware of who you are and what you stand for.  Ensure your exhibition materials reflect your brand identity.  If, for example, you are an innovative, creative designer, ensure your stand is also innovative and creative, and doesn’t look like every other stand in the room.  Introduce some interactivity to your display which lures visitors to you – don’t just stand there with a clutch of business cards and wait for someone to come to you.  Consider the exhibition exercise to be about more than sales – it is a way to raise your profile among your local community and industry, and to forge a brand identity which clearly distinguishes you from your competition.
