Database Cleansing

There’s no point in investing your hard-earned income on sales and marketing initiatives if you are using out-of-date prospect data.  You need to ensure the people you are calling and sending your literature to are still the right people, the right decision-makers.  So, before you start a project, take a few hours to review your database.  Remove duplicate records.  Correct any obvious address or postcode errors.  If you have the time, quickly google each company to ensure the contact details remain accurate.  It may seem like a waste of time, but if you haven’t cleansed your database in a while, it will drastically improve your project’s success rate.
