Competitor Research

You may not choose to follow your competitors’ lead, but it is important to know what they are doing, how and what they are charging and in which markets they are focusing.  This basic research gives you some insight into the choices your customers face, and how you might counter this with your sales and marketing activities.  For your sales efforts to be at their most effective, you need to have a complete understanding of every element influencing a prospective purchaser, and your competitors are without doubt part of this mix.
