Can you spare half an hour a week to write a short, sharp blog?  If you can, it’s well worth the effort.  It provides your business with a ‘voice’, an opinion, and promotes you as an expert in your field.  If I’m looking to source a new accountant, for example, whose website am I going to spend longer browsing – one which is ostensibly an online brochure and hasn’t been updated since the day it was published, or one with a regularly-updated section presenting advice on how my business is affected by changes in regulation?  Blogging is great for driving traffic onto your site, and boosting your search engine ranking.
